HAWAII

We had a great trip to the Big Island recently. While on the trip we saw the volcano erupting as we flew over in a helicopter. We also had a chance to drive around the island and to visit South Point, the Southern most point in the United States of America.

I spent three mornings under the water taking photos of the fish and reef. I saw other creatures such as whales, manta rays, and lobsters. All I brought back were pictures, no samples of the sea creatures.

The Big Island as well as Maui make great destinations for tourists who want a little peace and quite but also do not want to do to a nearly deserted island. I hope we get back to Kona before too long so I can spend more time diving and making pictures of the marine life. It will be fun to see more of the island on the next visit also.
