Our Volunteer Work

Darlene and I both believe in the value of giving of our time and knowledge to help others. We concentrate our efforts through two primary organizations that we feel serve the community well. They are the Houston Area Women's Center and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The Houston Area Women's Center provides food and shelter to those women and children forced to seek shelter from abusive situations. They also provide guidance and counseling to help these women get back on their feet supporting themselves. To learn more click here:

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is another great organization. The organization has raised countless millions to send deserving students to college. Additionally, the HLSR has funded numerous facilities improvements to the sports complex at the AstroDome USA complex, otherwise known as the Eight Wonder of the World.
