About Us

In the Beginning:

We are a family who loves among other things helping others. Our family and pets are important to us as is doing things with them. As Animal lovers we like helping with causes such as the local animal shelter. We enjoy family get-togethers and vacationing as a family and even with extended family.

We like spending time at the coast and watching the waves come in. Cruising is another passion and we have become huge fans of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and in particular the Voyager of the Seas. We own the Longhorns that sailed above the bridge when this huge ship first sailed into Galveston. In fact we love cruising so much as wet up a cruise agency to offer expert advice and assistance booking world class vacation cruises.

The ranch has historical family ties as Darlene's grandparents settled it initially and her mother was born there. After being split into several parcels and sold we managed to secure the largest part of the ranch with the best views. We raise cattle there which is a change from some of the row crops raised with prior generations lived there.

We put on a spectacular Christmas light show each year for the kids big and little alike who live in the area and take a few minutes to watch the show. The Christmas Light Show takes hundreds of hours to plan, set up, and take down each year. It is a ton of fun to do and brings great joy to many who live around here.
